Not only was Dr. Kendrick a high honors graduate, but he also made a name for himself in the athletic world playing football for ETSU.

He then attended the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) and received his medical degree as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society graduate in 1981. He completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic residency at the MCG in 1982 and 1986, respectively. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in 1988 and re-certified in 1998.

Dr. Kendrick is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the Southern Orthopaedic Association, Medical Association of Georgia, South Georgia Medical Society (Lowndes County), and Georgia Orthopaedic Society.

He has three daughters named Katelyn, Carrie Beth, and Anne Spencer. In his free time, Dr. Kendrick loves spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and going to sporting events.
