Q: IS VALDOSTA ORTHOPEDIC SEEING PATIENTS?

A: Yes! VOA is open. We are taking extra steps to make sure that we can deliver world class service to all our patients during this time.

Q: WHAT ARE OPERATING HOURS?

A: 8am-12pm Monday through Friday.
Early X-ray slots are available 7-8am then a telemedicine visit that afternoon to review x-rays and condition with doctor.

Q: CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?

A: During changes to our practice associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that only the patient come into the back of the office to see their doctor unless the patient is a minor or needs special assistance.

Q: IS IT SAFE FOR ME TO COME TO MY APPOINTMENT?

A: We are taking extra measures to make our facilities as safe as possible:

–   Every employee and patient will go through a questioner and have their temperature taken before entering the building.

–   We have increased all cleaning around the office and waiting room.

–   Using extra doors for entry to get patients in and out with limited contact.

Q: I AM NOT FEELING MY BEST. SHOULD I STILL COME FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

A: If you are not feeling well or if you have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment or make use of telemedicine that is now being offered to speak with your doctor.

Q: HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED?

A: Notice should be sent by text or phone call. Please feel free to contact our office at 229-247-2290 to verify your appointment.

Q: HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR MY TELEMEDICINE APPOINTMENT?

A: Visit our website at wehatepain.com and look on the home page for instructions to download Zoom on smart phone or computer. Have a good email and be around the phone or computer a few minutes before your appointment.

Q: IS PHYSICAL THERAPY OPEN?

A: Yes

Q: IF I OR MY FAMILY IS IN NEED OF AN X-RAY IS THAT AN OPTION?

A: Yes, we are still performing x-rays in the office. Please refer to our revised business hours to schedule an appointment to come in to be evaluated and have an x-ray if needed.

Q: WHAT IS VOA DOING TO ENSURE THE FACILITIES ARE CLEAN?

A: All patient rooms, nurses’ stations, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas are cleaned and sanitized multiple times every day. All employees undergo screening for COVID-19 before starting their shifts. All patients and visitors at the office are screened prior to entering the building.
