Ibrahim Usman-Oyowe, MD, is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine at Valdosta Orthopedic Associates in Valdosta, Georgia. He is fellowship-trained in interventional spine and pain medicine, specializing in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of pain conditions affecting the spine and musculoskeletal system.

Education & Medical Training

Dr. Oyowe earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, in 2008. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, in 2012.


He completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Chicago Medical Center before pursuing specialized training in rehabilitation and pain management.


Dr. Oyowe then completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry) at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.


Following residency, he completed advanced fellowship training in Spine, Sports, and Musculoskeletal Medicine at the Penn Spine Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
